HISTORY

Built in 1936, this building operated as a JC Penney department store for many years.

We conducted a complete ground-up restoration including all new windows throughout the 4 floors, all new HVAC, a new staircase, new elevator, bars, and extensive restoration throughout the entire building.

This beautiful renovation is top of the line and guests will be transported back to the 1920’s with every view.

THE BUILDING

    We have a capacity for up to 600 people, making us one of the largest event centers in the state, and our one of a kind building offers 20,000+ square feet of unbelievable event space.

  • LEVELS

    Our 4 floors offers the versatility you need for any event. Some of our amenities include large women's lounge, large men's lounge, selfie room, multiple levels and bars to oblige everyone.

  • BARS & CATERING

    We have 3 incredible marble bars throughout the event space staffed by our team. Catering options are endless, and we offer a complimentary catering kitchen.

OUTDOOR TERRACE

Our event space also includes a 7,000 sq/ft street terrace with bar top tables, umbrellas, and strung lights, providing a stunning extension of our interior space for your event!

We are just 7 minutes west of downtown Milwaukee, and less than 90 minutes north of Chicago, Illinois. We are also minutes from all the surrounding suburbs ofMilwaukee, including Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Glendale, and all the many suburbs throughout southeast Wisconsin.

We have parking for in excess of 400 vehicles, including street and lot parking. We will also be offering multiple shuttle services.

Whether your wedding or other event is for 99 people or up to 600, The Deco, is the place to have it.
